1. Where to shoot?

Southern California offers many beautiful outdoor locations to choose from! Here are some popular options based on your preferences:

• Beaches: Stunning and timeless, best shot an hour before sunset.

• Trails or Parks: Open grassy areas are great for young children.

• Old Towns: Charming historic towns nearby are perfect for couples, engagement shoots, or portraits.

• Studio: My studio, The Best of Me, is conveniently located near the Irvine Spectrum Center. It’s ideal for simple, classic, and elegant studio portraits.                                                                                 

 

2. What should we wear?

• Stick to earthy, neutral tones to create timeless photos. Avoid loud colors and busy patterns that can be distracting.

• Wear something that feels like you—comfortable and confident is key.

• Coordinate colors and tones as a family to create a cohesive look.
  We also offer complimentary wardrobe consultation! Send me a casual photo of your family, and after choosing a location, I’ll provide tailored outfit recommendations with reference photos.   

 

3. How far in advance should we book?

I recommend booking at least 1 month in advance, or 2 months during busy seasons. A $300 deposit is required to secure your date.
If you need to reschedule, I offer one free rescheduling, as long as you notify me at least 3 days in advance. For same-day cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable.

4. Are there any additional fees?

My pricing is all-inclusive, covering all digital files with basic edits and cropping.

• Your package includes 10 fully retouched photos with advanced color, skin, and shape adjustments.

• If you'd like additional retouched photos, they are $15/photo for individuals or $20/photo for group shots.                                                                                                                                                                   

5. How long does it take to get the photos?

• You’ll receive all edited images in a private online gallery within 5 business days.

• After selecting your retouched photos, final edits will take up to 10 business days.

• Need faster delivery? Rush orders are available for an additional 10% of the package fee.       

         

6. Can the photographer choose the retouched photos for me?

Many clients say, “I love all of them—can you choose for me?” I’d be happy to help! I’ll make selections from a professional perspective and confirm them with you before starting the edits.               

              

7. How long will the online gallery be available?

Your online gallery will be available for at least 2 years, but I highly recommend downloading the files to your computer and keeping a secure backup.       

                                                                                      

8. Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m based in Irvine, CA, but I’m happy to travel to new locations! I’ve shot in many Orange County locations and can recommend the perfect spot based on your vision.

• Locations within 20 miles of Irvine are free.

• For locations beyond 20 miles, additional travel fees may apply based on the distance and timing.
